ASIC PVT QA Engineer, Lund

Are you an engineer who thrives on being the technical hub, while also loving to work hands-on in the lab? At Axis Communications, we develop the advanced chips that are the brain of our smart products. We are now looking for someone to take on a coordinating role and drive our PVT testing from start to finish.

Your role: Coordinate, Test, and Analyze
In this role, you get the best of both worlds: you are the central point of contact for coordinating validation work while also being deeply involved in the technical execution. Your work will ensure our chips perform at a world-class level. You will:

• Coordinate and Drive: You will be the key link between our ASIC design, firmware (FW), and hardware teams. You will translate requirements, specify tasks, and ensure everyone is synchronized toward a common goal. You are not afraid to challenge specifications to ensure testability and focus on what matters most. You will be the liaison who can specify and request functionality from other teams.
• Work hands-on in the lab: You will take full ownership of the practical work. You will define test plans, build test setups, and personally execute the critical PVT tests.
• Dive deep into the technology: You will work at a low level, collaborating with the firmware teams to configure the chip's voltages and clocks. You will troubleshoot complex problems and analyze how the chip behaves under extreme conditions.
• Automate and improve: You will use appropriate tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) to create efficient test flows and develop tools to analyze measurement data and present your conclusions.

Who are you?
We are looking for a communicative and structured problem-solver. You enjoy seeing the big picture but are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into the technical details.

• You are a natural coordinator who thrives on having multiple points of contact and driving collaboration forward.
• You have practical experience with hands-on hardware testing, preferably in ASIC, FPGA, or similar fields.
• You have a solid technical foundation and an interest in understanding the entire system, from chip architecture to software interaction.
• You are comfortable working hands-on in a lab with equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and climate chambers.
• You have strong programming skills to automate and streamline your work.
